My little story 4 fight way up from e8400 2 Haswell.
There are not many driven from Intel 2 do that...
😞 So, my choiced driven head -
use smart fan control anounced on this motherboard.
So long, when am screw up new platform, I found that am can't install imortant 4 me AI suite 3 from included disk and from ASUS support suite. Bad version is 1.00.55 just stuck in installation process with stuck two services and two process in my MS Win pro 64bit. Trying 2 install previous 1.00.51(from ASUS site) get message that my hardware not supported. *uck, am loved that.
Try 2 use other utility 4 my demand failed, SpeedFan do not support this enviroment and just control fan from my GPUs...

But... Ai suite 3 do not started at all.
At start OS and login, am get message about wrong string w class:
ProgID: "AsusFanControlService.FanControlManager"
Trying to start Ai suite get except violation 0x000....

😎Am open case in asus support [ID=RWTM20131005220419052-257] (sorry, Russian lang) and in that thread,
stuff say that many problem with 1.00.55 version and advice try any older.
(me try 1.00.44 fro Gryphon Z87, as closed by enviroment, Nuvaton NCT6791D as spec, but failed)
So, with combined methods adove(Clean utility, change permission 4 two asus util w admin. rights)
and change DIR DrvResource from 1.00.55, am succefuly install 1.00.51 and _very_ happy Therm.mon.2 functionality.
It's great util make silent my briks box by optimazed airflow with stop 5 from 7 (and +4 GPUs, still run) fan
at 95% usage time. Very, very nice and usefull utility.
My advice 4 Chinece (see files description) ASUS PROgrammers - make quick fix allow install 1.00.51, with previous "clean.exe" enviroment. Anyway, _thanks_ for this job.
