Hi people, A little help please.

Twice I tried to flash both the bios 4102 and 4206 8 in bios cip 1) and both times after a reboot, gave a double boots with the messages updating UEFI-1 and UEFI-2.... but after the complete setup of the new bios, the PC make a long sound and does not load the Sys OP .....apparently has difficulty also to read the original DVD WIN 7.
Two time the same results...very strange .
If I go back with the 3602 bios, everything it is OK. Of course i live the bios 3602 in the Bios cip 2!

What appen now and what can I do?

Not sure whether you started out with 'cap' BIOS version, but perhaps this could have something to do with the BIOS 'cap versus rom' conversion ?

Thank you for replay,

perhaps I was not very clear because my English is " not perfect" !
I know the problems of Cap converter and setup bios ... in the past I started from the original version 1404 and from that I made no less than a dozen flash until version 3602 Bios without encountering any problem ... after a few minutes I've always been able to restart of a PC with a new bios fully functional up, and until the 3602 version that I use currently loaded on both the bios 1 , 2 and on the bios chip .
Yesterday I tried to load in the BIOS 1, version 4102 (and also the 4206) .... but both give me problems of a long tone after boot and to not load the Op Sys ... ....says it is missing a driver thing , that never happened with previous versions .
I ask you to help me if you understand what's going on with these two latest versions of the bios .... anything was required to do before these versions I've already done perfectly , but it does not work in this case.
Can you give me help you figure out what to do again than the 3602 version that currently use perfectly OK ?
Thank you ... I hope I was clear .

Hi HiVizMan,

now i am using 3602 Nodens modify.
I have forever used Bios Nodens modified, also before version 3602, just to have Trim active.
And when i try to flash 4206, also this Bios version it is Nodens modified.
Tanks for your interest HiVizMan.

Hi sandro c

I am a fellow sufferer of bad BIOS luck at the moment...not that helps in any other way than to let you know you are not suffering alone...if it's of any use to you I have ordered two new chips from here...just for reference if ever needed! http://www.bios-chip24.com/epages/63730052.sf/de_DE/?ObjectID=15827782

Back to your actual situation....when you flash the BIOS are you setting raid in BIOS before booting up etc?....it can't be that simple right?

have you tried disconnecting raid and flashing and then reconnecting anything like that?

Nodens knows what he's doing like 100% but..... you know..... maybe one tsipouro too many 😄

I don't know enough about this stuff to be of real use....I just post so your topic goes to the top of the forum and maybe Nodens will notice it;)

CiaoArne , it is a pleasure to hear from you ,

I do not think is a problem of BIOS chip , the same chip because if I make a flash of the old version 3602 everything comes back OK ... thankfully! However, I got the link .
I think there is something I do not do that we need to do ... from version 4102 onwards, because after all the flash give me " a long sound " and do not load the Sys OP .... just flash the previous version totto and returns OK.
HiVizMan asked me if I use modified versions for a long time ... but I ONLY use modified versions Nodens .
I have not tried to disconnect and reconnect the raid0 .. because I did not have ever needed in the past.
I hope Nodens see me and answer my tread ... always that the distillate has not given a negative effect .... to the eyes ! It can happen if you leave out in good ethyl alcohol ... only a 5% methyl alcohol ... it is very dangerous ... but if it is true that he is making distillates, i can provide him a bit of info ... ( they did I also with the marc ..) but ... do you ... it's early now, is good in November !

Ciao Nodens,

I hope you can help me in this tread .... after Bios flash from version 3204 or 3602 to version 4102 or 4206, in my PC give a long beep and no longer loads the Sys OP.
Returning to one of the older versions back, everything is OK.
Since version 3206 I am always using your Bios mod.
What's that you need to do after the flash versions 41XX and later that it was not necessary to do on previous versions?
thanks
