Prime TRX40-Pro ECC Memory Not Working Properly

KaziQ

Motherboard model: Prime TRX40-Pro

UEFI Version: 1101 (latest as of this post)

CPU: 3970X

Memory kit part number (s) and amount in GB: 8x16GB (128GB) Kingston KSM26ED8/16ME

GPU: GTX 1650

SSD/HDDs/Optical drives: Samsung 970 EVO

Operating system: Microsoft Activated yes/no? Yes

Issue:

I can’t get ECC to be properly recognized by Linux, Memtest86 or Windows. Windows sees it as ECC but reports wrong TotalWidth (128 bits instead of 72 bits) . Memtest86 doesn’t recognize ECC at all and Linux is confused. I can’t verify that ECC works since I can’t inject errors using Memtest86. Created a ticket, called customer service. I can’t use the serial number on the website as it doesn’t get recognized, neither is the model listed in the motherboard section. Maybe I am missing something. ECC must work as advertised. It's very crucial. That's why I got the Asus TRX40-Pro.
