I have just installed a new Prime-B450-Plus with a 2600x. I am trying to force my RAM to reach 3000. When running DOCP I can see that it see the Speed/Timings/Voltage of the RAM fine. The RAM I am using is Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000 CMK16GX4M2D3000C16. I have 2 Kits that Contain 2 x 8gb.
2 DIMMS in Slot A2+B2 the system will boot fine. Swapping the DIMMS to another Pair in the same Slots work fine to.
When using 4 DIMMS in Slots A1,A2,B1 and B2 the system will reboot several time then runs in to safe mode via POST and force me back to the BIOS as the system is unstable.
I have tried several BIOS versions to see if it would make a difference.
I know the RAM is XMP 2 compliant and does work in A2 and AB .
Can any one advice ?
