Possible bug in 1504 bios

hi all,
with the previous 1402 bios and my i7-4770 (non-K) processor, with sync all cores active, i used to always stay at 39x multiplier under windows 8.1 (maximum performance in control panel). just by upgrading to the 1504, i no longer get that, insted i reverted to 37x multiplier fixed. if i change in "per core" mode, 39 typed in each field, i get the 39 multiplier but only under load....reverting to the 1402 solved the problem....

i wonder if someone else has had this issue and if it has been solved...thanks,

Ok, so I received my 4790k today. And like a good lad, I followed the instructions and downloaded the combined 1505 BIOS and BIOS updater. I also installed the Intel Management Engine Interface as a prerequisite to the BIOS updater working (it told me I had to the first time I ran the updater) as I had not installed it previously. I updated to 1505 in Windows using the updater and rebooted with my i7-4771 still installed just to see if the 1505 BIOS had fixed the 37x multiplier cap. It hadn't as it was still capped at 37x as per the 1504 BIOS, but what the heck, I am shifting over to the 4970k!

After installing the 4790k and making a few early tweaks in BIOS (ie changing to the XMP profile for RAM, and lowering my two chassis fan warning speeds to 300rpm as I can't boot without doing this), it all worked perfectly. Its nice to see the cpu purring along at 4.4Ghz without any effort!

Any news on this? Since the bios 1505 my processor doesn't pass above 3,44ghz while stress test. It is a non-K version (4770s) as the guy from the first post.

Problem:

If I set asus multicore enhancement to auto, nothing happens, as opposed in the bios 1402, 1301, 11xx, 10xx, etc. With those BIOS if I set asus multicore enhancement to auto, the processor goes up to 3.85ghz during stress with realbench. The difference between the BIOS(s) 15xx, 16xx and others is the processor micropatch. The new micropatch is the 19 and seems that the bios is not optimized to go to 3.85ghz anymore with that micropatch.
