performance guide for ASUS Z9PED8_WS ?

Hello,

Is anyone aware of a performance guide for the ASUS Z9PED8_WS? there are so many BIOS settings that affect performance and it is a daunting task to get the best BIOS settings for the specific choice of hardware and OS.

Since I could not find any performance guide, this is my very rough attempt to create one:

Thank you. Please feel free to edit the README.textile where I'm hosting the Performance Optimization guide. At least I have summarized there the performance-relevant BIOS settings.

btw I am building an HPC development infrastructure from scratch, so far I have assembled two HPC machines using the Z9PED8_WS and we plan to build quite a few more. This is why it is very important to get the performance optimization right. Interestingly enough we went the easy way with Ubuntu 12.04 and not the Enterprise OS versions where we might face some software limitations like RedHat Enterprise.
