Hello,

Today i cleaned my pc and connected everything back, when i tryed to boot the pc, all the lights where burning, fans where moving ect, just liked it used to before. only thing i did was getting my graphics card out and back in after i cleaned it.
I'm sure nothing died as i had this problem before when building my pc. i had to do some weird resetting (not like changing the jumper ect but a couple of things like moving jumper then holding the power button for 10 sec ect)

My pc:

I7 2600k, maximus iv extreme, 16gb corsair vengeance and GTX680 twin frozr.

Does someone maby know the answer or the resetting that i forgot?

if you need more information please ask!

EDIT: pc only works when having 1 ram stick in the 3th slot! but i don't know what to do next!

do you remember if its post 2-2-8 on page 2-29?? ( loking at the Z version manual of the M4E )

i rememberd it: it was bios battery out, pressing the start button for around 10/15 seconds then battery in again and it worked but now it doesnt, the pc only works when having 1 ram stick in the 3th slot.. but i don't know what to do next as the pc still gives a 3B code when putting the 3 other ram sticks in it..

on mine it's 2.2.8 Jumper? i already tryed that but it didnt work..

Reseat your CPU.

The cooler is to tight or has shifted and now the pins are not lining up on the CPU pads.
