PC freezing on b650e-e after BIOS upgrade to version 3265

I have b650e-e and 9950X3D.

I never had any issues with any bios, until I upgraded to the latest one (I had 3222 before it).

After the BIOS upgrade my PC randomly freezes. It can happen any time, during the windows login, while watching YT, browsing files etc.

I tried:

- reinstalling bios, clearing cmos, reseting settings

- reinstalling windows and all drivers

Every time my PC freezes the MB post code ia different. The latest one was 50. But I had post codes that suggest issue with GPU, USB, RAM, you name it.

I think this can be solved only by Asus and a new bios, but I am open for suggestions.

Status update:

Ever since I have set DOCP Tweaked, I am not having the freezes.

I even fully tuned the timings and subtimings.

6200 c28 runs fine and passes stress tests.

I hope that I am not just on some lucky streak without freezes.

Hi @Tuned4Fun

1. Does the behaviour desist if you flashback to the previous build?
2. Does the behaviour persist if at complete Optimised Defaults? No changes whatsoever, including EXPO overclocking?

You can not flashback to a previous bios once you install this latest version.

I have found on the internet that other people who are using BIOS with this AGESA 1.2.0.3e are experiencing freezes when they set memory speed to 6000 or higher.

So far, it seems that I am not getting freezes if I do not use expo (default settings).

I used to have 6200 cl 28 passing Karhu 24h, and now PC would freeze even at 6000 despite memory stress tests passing.

I am very sure now that this AGESA is the problem.

Can you try EXPO Tweaked, let me know if this helps.

I just did.

Sometimes it can take a day before issue starts happening, so I will get back to you once I have some data.

Thanks for helping.

Cool. It's most likely due to the more relaxed AMD Nitro settings.
