Hey guys,
My new system has been running great overall. I have been worrying about the Clock failing to work at some point but I am trying to keep that out of my head.
I have an issue where none of my USB devices gets initialized until about 5 seconds of being on the Welcome Screen. I POST and boot in like 6 seconds, and I like to just tap the space baras soon as I get to the Welcome Screen to select the first user A/c which is mine and load right to my desktop, as I did on my previous system, so this delay is kind of annoying. I have noticed that the LEDs on my keyboard and mouse gets let about 3 seconds after boot then about 5 before I can do anything with them.
I have adjusted the USB Initialiazation option in the BIOS
Booted with just a mouse and just a keyboard plugged in
Tried the standard Win 7 SATA drivers as well as the Intel IRST drivers
Tried all USB settings in UEFI with xHCI, legacy USB and so on
Enabled CSM, changed Secore Boot to "Other OS"
Same issue on a cool boot and a restart
I doubt my startup programs would affect it since it's an issue at the Welcome Screen
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
