I mean officially by ASUS when they release a new "official" BIOS.

no worries there, as intel has just stated no trim for raid for 6 series boards...if just for speed, the 3.1 on station drivers is great. check out the modded 2105/3.2 series orom thread...

Sorry friend, RIVE and its family use X79 chipset. It's a 7 series not 6 . Windows 8 Pro with Media Center in my system can be TRIM your SSD and RAID by Optimize your drive within 1 second with Intel SATA/RAID ROM 3.2.0.1022. However It can't do anything with old school RIVE
3.0.0.1085. Want to proof ? Try Windows 8 RTM now. you'll see a lot advantage of 3.2.0.1022 over 3.0.0.1085 man.
