https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/OC_Panel/#support

Navigate to driver and tools.

Select your OS version

Then down load both the tool and the firmware update.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Thank you HiVIzMan. Just download the utility as instructed.
BTW, do you have any suggestion to the problem I posted here: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?41655-Not-Enough-USB-Controller-Resources-on-Maximus-VI-Ext...

Humm,

When I go to the page for the drivers I do not see any utility under the Firmware.

I see Firmware and Manual that is all.

I am setting up my new black MB today.

EDIT:
It is in the firmware download.

Installed NP. 🙂

I wanted to update the bios on my OC-panel aswell. I tried disabling the Intel xHCI but the update program keeps saying USB Removed and that it couldn't find the unit. Any ideas or solutions?

Exact same problem here. I am scratching my head too, it worked fine when I updated the previous OC Panel firmware. Maybe Asus needs a new firmware update program for OC Panel?

I'm not sure how different motherboards are set up but in the RIVBE there are two levels of settings. The first is called "EHCI Hand-off", this is the option that is supposed to be turned off (on the RIVBE its off by default). The second level option is called the "EHCI Controller", on the RIVBE there are 2 of these and they're in the "USB Per Port Control" submenu; you want to leave those on. So the Hand-off should be turned off and leave the controller options alone.

This is why the updater program can't find the OC Panel, because the controller that it's on is turned off (I assume).

Hope this fixes your issue.
