OC Key - OSD RIVE

Hi

Rampage IV Extreme OSD function issues.

I connected the OC Key to the board, connected the black lead from board to key. Held ROG Connect button in the back down for three seconds as instrucions say - Up pops the OSD ...... wait a couple secs as instructed, press key briefly and you should then toggle access via keyboard to it, that is supposed toggle between OC Key and computer system.

Unfortunately the only time this button lights up is when the OSD is not displayed on screen - lit is on or off?

No matter what i do i am unable to move the cursor and select any items on the OSD - i have tried both bios a and b - one 3204 i think .... the other 4206.

Does this OSD work at all? Am i doing something wrong? Do i have to set something in the bios before its use?

Note, the supplied white USB cable is not attatched or in the white USB socket.

I have another thread in the software secion asking for assistance with idirect/rog connect - that also fails to work.

Do you have your keyboard connected via USB or PC/2?

Keyboard connection is via USB/Bluetooth - Logitech MX 5500 Desktop.

Have also tried another Logitech USB only keyboard - a K260 Desktop. Also fails to access it.

I'm using OC Key with PC/2 Kb and it works fine.
Some USB KBs just won't work with OC key.

Thank you Dartmaul .... I have played with this for hours today trying to figure it out. I forgot i do have a very old PC/2 Kb - have just tried it, and as soon as i fired the PC up the actions of the switch altered for the first time and the functions became accessible.
