OC Key on Maximus V Extreme

Hey, i'm tried getting the OC KEY to work it does just fine but my keyboard controls will not work with it, i tried switching from oc key/windows by holding the button for about 1-2 seconds still nothing. So i was wondering if updating the firmware will resolve this issue. The keyboard i have is a Razer Lycosa

Can you explain in detail how you installed the OC key?

I believe the OC Key will only work when you have a PS2 keyboard connected. (You may still keep a USB keyboard attached, it simply will not make changes with the OC Key.)

plugged in the black cable into the OC KEY, then i plugged the OC KEY into the dvi on my graphics card and the output to my second monitor

As far as installation goes, you installed it perfectly. The only factor left to look at is your keyboard. Does your Razer Lycosa have a built-in USB hub? The OC key does not support USB keyboards that has its own built-in USB hub.

ohhh yeah.... gonna use another keyboard just for the OC KEY XD

Any of those $6 USB keyboards will work fine. The fancier ones are usually the most problematic. lol

i was fighting a lot with the OCKEY before i realized the only way it works is that you have to connect your keyboard on the ROG USB connector 😛 i have a microsoft sidewinder X6 keyboard
