OC key not working and bios flash takes over 20 hours thru AI suite?

Hi all, I am having some issues with my new rampage IV extreme board.

when i try to use the OC key my screen does not work, just stays black. when i take out the oc key from in between my screen works fine?

i am using DVI-hdmi connector to my samsung 32 inch lcd led. why does the video signal not go thru the oc key succesfully? is it broken, or am i doing something wrong? (i wouldnt know what i could be doing wrong actually, its just plug it all in and go right?)

Also i am currently flashing my bios to the latest 09 bios version thru asus AI suite software in windows, since i saw it in windows and the usb stick version of flashing seemed too much trouble, i rebooted, its been about 20 hours and the update is still only at +60%. something cant be right here?

any ideas or suggestions? thx.

I update my bios with AI suite and it takes about 10second i would try again, Also have your read the manual on how to use the OC key?

yes, i did follow the manual step by step for the OC key, the cable is also in correctly from the mobo to the oc key, i dont really understand what could be the problem. it should just pass thru the video signal right?

dual link dvi is not supported, not fully yet anyways in case, and only dvi supported, a vga - dvi adapter not counted

for the moment i just work without the oc key, no real pressing probs there

now on to my bios flashing

it just finished, rebooted, and started flashing again!, i got sick of it, shut down, and rebooted, now it starts flashing again!
am i stuck in a loop now?

hi can you:

turn off AC power and wait till all power is discharged.
press clear cmos button
and power back on again and go into bios menu to check and note current bios version and the irog-1 and irog-2 version and let me know?

ok, managed to clear the cmos, and i copied bios 2 to bios 1 cause bios 1 wasnt working at all anymore thru the bios flash program. now its all back at default, but it did destroy my raid 0 array and only detected 3 drives in raid 0 and not 4 drives in raid 0 like it should, so i had to destroy the raid and create a new one, luckily i had a backup on my nas, so not much harm done there fortunately.

i'll try flashing again later using the bios program and a usb stick i dont trust windows anymore.

also seems like my fan xpert program from AI suite aint starting up anymore either, strange.

seems like i am unable to flash my bios, i go to the bios, use the ez flash utility, it says flashing succesfull, reboot

then it say updating Irog-1 and it takes like 10 mins just to get to 1% , strange, very strange, so i quit and do a cmos clear, and copy bios 2 back to bios 1.

is there any other way to flash my bios? is my bios chip broke? does it automatically flash bios 1? can i try it on bios 2 to flash?

anybody else got a suggestion? (i do have 64 gb of ram, but that doesnt matter right when flashing?, wouldnt give errors or so right?)

(also my samsung led tv only shows like 75% of the screen in the bios, so the right screen with all the info when going over something i cannot see) its res is stuck at 720p and cant see the full bios screen. is there a workaround for this too?
