Not sure if there's a setting I need to adjust, but it seems after I shut the system down my keyboard flickers seems the USB components may be partially powered. Anyway to turn this off, or is it a known issue?

Could you confirm which USB ports you are using for your mouse and keyboard.

And welcome to the forum 🙂

Thanks!
Upper Blue one in the back. I did try all the USB ports to see if it was just the ports. My keyboard is a Logitech G15.

Go into the bios under "advanced" tab seclect On Board Devices Config and disable the USB3 Charging.
I think that may fix your problem.

good find, But didn't work. I tried different USB ports. Everyone still seems to keep the board lit up. The Onscreen display is off, but I have a little USB light I connect to the board and it stays fully lit, not to mention the board has a subtle blink.

Just out of interest, this power on state is there even when you flash to an different BIOS and are running at fail safe defaults?

I went through my system and what I found is on the CH4F if I have Ai Charger installed the USB's (all) stay powered up. when uninstalled it the USB's powered down at shutdown. I don't know if it's the same with the CH5F but I wouldn't doubt it. I have an iPod Classic so I love the feature it keeps my iPod fully charged.
