Not even 5hrs of Run time..................

now I have the dreaded no boot curse, Damn it! Any suggestions? did the tricks I learn from watching this forum for several months. boot fine initially, installed Win 8 , office 2013 and nvidia drivers and rebooted fine. did one more reboot and it did that old jerk the fans momentarily. start / reset buttons illuminated. :mad: Doing a reflash of the bois in last hope for tonight. Gawd this was my worst nightmare .. and was worried if I would get tagged. 😞

Aww man that is not good....sorry to hear that and your one of the few who have IB-E to play with ....I presume you've tried reseating it all out on a box etc...etc...

it worked for 5 hrs , allowed me to install windows and the works, Did the win 8 updatese , with the typical reboot. " it told mee to pound sand" :mad:

yeah, I RMA'd it a bought the last one at my Local Fry's Electronic.
Wish me luck. I think I won't add that 12.8 driver for now, that was the ast thing I had updated before the reboot

2 motherboard down, I Give up 😞


I'm back on my x 58 for now, and will have the CPU checked tomorrow. 2nd board just looped and looped. R/R'd the CPU in the socket , checked pins, this is not been a fun 48 hours. when I first booted up yesterday on the first board, I told my wife this was the easiest upgrade ever did. Then that reboot Dead.
I think I jinx myself.

Update, CPU is Fine. Board has to me RMA'd according to the vendor that sold it to me. So I 'll go though the process on
Tueday.. Good thing I still had the old mobo and still :rolleyes:

Good to hear your CPU is AOK....shame a bot the MB not squaring up! Hope the RMA is double quick!
