No Video/USBs not working

Okay...

Ive recently installed the Crosshair mobo and put in a new CPU as well, when I turn on the tower there is no video..no beeps..and the usbs are not working therefore no mouse, keyboard, or speakers... I really do not know too much and live in such a small town I cannot find outside local help either. Everything is plugged in as should be but due to optical drive cable being short I had to move it down on the bottom portion of tower which made me move my GPU to the second slot on the mobo. My specs are as follows:

AMD FX-8370 Black Edition 8 Core CPU Processor AM3+ 4300Mhz 125W 16MB
Ram:
Corsair Vengeance (2 x 8GB)

Gigabyte Radeon R9 270x
HD:
2TB WD Black Series
Power:
Cooler Master GX II 750W


I got a corsair H60 but have not installed it yet as I wanted to get everything else running already, as of now I am using what came with the CPU.

if there is any clarity you need from me I will try or any other information...

Check your power connections

I would bench test the motherboard as you may have a stand-off that is misplaced that is "shorting" out the motherboard. Also as suggested make sure both the Aux 8-Pin CPU Power Connector is populated as well as the Molex connector down by the PCI X16 slot (that is more for video card graphics).
