No power to mobo vi hero

Hi

Am hoping some one here can advise on a problem with a new build based on a maximus via hero.

All new parts apart from existing gtx 680 and data drived

PSU ocz 1000 watt modular
I7 4770k
2x 8GB Vulcan ddr3 2133
Vi hero mono
2x gtx 680 sli
Corsair 80i water cooling

Built 4 days ago and set xmp and auto CPU up to 4.2 GHz

Dual booting win 7 x86 and win 8 x64

All worked great until I fully powered down (power at rear) for first time last night.

Now when I power on no power is reaching mono (no LEDs come on)

Have cleared CMOS with jumper
Have tested PSU to mains cable
Have swapped in CMOS battery from old mobo

Still dead.

I hoping is maybe just defective PSU I can RMA but wanted to check here first.

Last but of info us PSU to mono is both 4 and 8 pin.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yup none of the mobo lights at all come on.

Could you test the PSU in the old mobo to see if it is PSU.

Yeah I can give that a whirl

Yup looks like the PSU failed. Am organising an RMA.
