No Display On Maximus VI Gene - b2 / vga red light

Hello All,
I just bought an Asus Maximus VI Gene.

i7-4770K
16 GB (8GBx2) of Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR3-1866 (PC3-15000) CL9
120GB Samsung SSD 840
Using onboard graphics

If I plug the board into my TV via an HDMI cable and boot the PC, then I get the vga red light and a b2 qcode.

I have reseated everything, I have stripped down to ram (including just one stick), processor, and hdmi cable. I have flashed the latest bios. The only time I can get to AE or A0 is when the TV is off, is unplugged, etc. However, I can NEVER see any image on the screen.

Any thoughts?

Your TV seems not to be compatible with the defaults of your system. Or the cable is not correct, I wonder if your TV is sending down a current the HDMI cable, do you have another cable or a DVI and HDMI adaptor? Failing that please try and borrow a monitor to test out if your system is working fine.
