New Memory question

I'm thinking of getting new memory and saw the other thread "Gskill ripjawsz or corsair vengeance" and was thinking to go Gskill RipjawsZ too but I'm not sure which one to get and also have some questions.

I'm from Egypt so locally we have 16GB 1866C9 or 16GB 2133C9, I'm thinking about the 1866C9 kit since i'm using my PC for gaming and normal use 95% of the time, but will listen to advice, also is mixing two kits OK or should I wait for the 32GB kits?

i7 3960x
Gtx480s
Seasonic X-1250

It is better to only use one kit if you possibly can. If the 2133MHz kit is not to expensive in Egypt I would suggest you buy that kit my friend.

Thx a lot HiVisMan, I just have one noob question, is it safe to use 1.65v memory for 24/7?

Oh and the 2133 kit is ~$210 and the 1866 is ~$160

Yes sir it is safe to use 1.65 for 24/7 with a X79 motherboard. 🙂
