Upgraded from 1203, no new issue found so far, however an existing bug since initial release still exist, wonder if i am the only one who is aware (affected) of it,

when the ASMedia SATA6G controller is disabled, PCIE_X1_1 & PCIE_X1_2 will be disabled as well, i believe not too many people are affected by this, but i still want it to be fixed in future BIOS release...

I disabled this controller as I'm not using it. I only use the Intel controller. My PCIe_X1 slot is working just fine. I have an Asus Xonar DX card installed. 🙂

I haven't had an issue with this at all. Owned the board since BIOS 0804.

I disable quite a few things too. I disable the on-board Intel GPU, the on-board audio chipset, the ASMedia SATA as well as the xHCI USB3 garbage.

Yay for system stability improvements. Does my system stability need improving? I don't know. The last update was 11 days prior to this one, I haven't even flashed that one.
I know we aren't getting a changelog, so .. maybe some MVI Hero owners can comment on perceived improvements for (1203 and) 1301?

I flashed the new bios 1301 still no luck. USB 3.0 hard drives are still not being detected after cold boot. I have to restart. This only affects the front USB 3.0 ports

Anyone know why we don't get a change log?

As for the ports being disabled i do not have that issue. I have the controller disabled but still have functioning ports in both 1x and 4x mode.

The biggest changes i have noticed through all the bios's is the voltages changing. I cap a screen shot (b/c asus made it so damn easy to do. i thought that would be a silly gimmick but have come to love it) of the default voltages after every bios.

Change log please Asus. We paid enough for the motherboard, a text file shouldn't be too hard to deliver to those who want it.

Thanks.

Make that 2. Asus start make disappoint me. Proper English no longer applies.
