New Build, little bit of issues.

Hello RoG forums, I know this is a new account and first post. I hope to become a active member and try to help those when I can. This time I need a little bit of help here.

My rig is as follows:

  • CPU: i7 4770k @stock 3.5 GHz
  • Cooler: Corsair H100i
  • Motherboard: Maximus VI Formula
  • Ram: G.Skill Trident X 16GB(2x8GB) @ 1600MHz 7-8-8-24 CL7
  • Storage: Samsung 840 Evo 500 GB (currently)
  • GPU: ASUS GTX780TI-DC2OC
  • PSU: Corsair AX860
  • Case: Fractal Design R4

Warning: Long post 😞

Ok, here we go!
First thing first, I make sure I have a clean static working area. I kept my dog out of the room, which has hardwood flooring.
I prepare my test bench, which is my motherboard box.
I inspect all components and install my CPU, golden arrow pointing to the correct direction and clamp it down.
I install my stock cooler and both dimms of RAM.
Attach both 24 pin & 8 pin power connectors, connect my keyboard, standard wired mouse and keyboard.
Power her up, she post and everything is AOK.
I power her down, disconnecting power to the motherboard.
I attach my sata cables, SSD and USB thumb drive which has my OS ready to go.
Reconnect everything, she post again and I'm off to installing the OS.
Everything is prefect still, sweet time to test out the GPU.
So I install the GPU and H100i.
Connecting both 8 pin PCIE to the GPU.
Placed the cooler bracket and the whole 9-yards.
I go to power her back up, Q-Code: 55.
WTF moment, I refer to my users guide, see that is notes "no memory installed".
I recheck the ram, making sure they're both seated properly assuming I may have bumped it while installing the H100i.
They're seated fine.
So I power it down, remove RAM and try again...still Code 55.
OK, so I try the RAM in multiple different variations and still no Post.
I clear the CMOS, still no go. Even pressed the MEM_OK button and the DRAM is lit.
Refer back to users guide, back to trying one dimm at a time and FINALLY get a post.
I'm finally in the OS, where I make sure it is running. Its all good. Power down.
I updated the BIOS to 1402, still Code 55.

Still no post.
I've tried one dimm at a time in all 4 slots.
With and without GPU installed.

Also, I installed the ASUS software.
AI Suite is showing my CPU @ 3.9 GHz.
I've done no overclocking or tinkering. 😞
CPUZ is showing weird things as well.
I'll link some screen caps.

All software is up to date.
CPUZ at the top right came with Realbench.
The other(CPUZ) I downloaded from the ASUS Support download page.
Realbench 2 I got from here.
Speccy and HWMonitor I obtained elsewhere.

Screencap

I can take photos of my BIOS settings which I haven't attempted to touch, since Code 55 has bothered me. 😞

Thanks!
Sorry if my post is long, I can ramble on at times.
