New build having issues with keyboard and internet

Hi
Just recently got my new build together and are experiencing a few odd problems.
First, sometimes when I boot my PC my Logitech G19 keyboard doesnt respond and
only way to fix it is either unplug the usb (hassle since its under the desk) or a reboot.
When I check the device manager (hope thats correct English for it) it says HID Keyboard
device, is that correct? In control panel/units and printers I have 2 x G19 so I just wonder
if something is wrong there.

Second problem is that my internet stutters i.e. every second minute playing a game
the game just freeze for a microsecond/s.
I did not have that problem on my previous build and my son playing the same game
next room does not experience this problems leading me to think there might be something
at my end. My pc is wired to the router/fiber and my son is wireless so maybe the lan on the mb?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

PS: Parts used in the build:
Maximus VI Hero
Intel Core i7-4770K
Corsair Vengeance Pro Black 16GB DDR3 PC3-15000 1866MHz
Samsung 840 Pro Series SSD 256GB
Win 7 64bit Home Premium
ASUS GeForce GTX 680 2GB DirectCU II OC
Corsair HX 1000W PSU

Are you connecting your keyboard to a USB 2.0 port or 3.0 port? And are you using the latest drivers for the LAN?

Moved to the Maximus section.

Do you have a basic no frills keyboard that you could test please.

And is the OS a fresh OS for that build or have you recycled a hard drive from another system and used the same old OS?
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

Im connecting my keyboard and mouse using USB 2.0, port 7 & 8 according to the manual.
The LAN drivers are: Gigabit Ethernet Driver V18.1.59.0 for Windows 7/8 32bit & 64bit (latest from Asus web)

Im afraid I dont, have a G15 that my son is using and the G19 I use, I can see if I can get hold of one to try.
The OS is a fresh install and the BIOS is the latest from Asus support site, 0804 I think it was.

Thx for trying to help guys, the keyboard I can live with Im more concerned with the internet freezing every now and then. I didnt have these problems on my previous build, EVGA X58 Classified and a i7-950 so I dont think there is anything wrong with my peripherals. My internet Connection is a 100/100Mbit fiber btw, didnt mention that.

I have :
CPUID ROG CPU-Z, RealBench, MemTweakit and Asus Sonarpulse? (the sound thing on screen in games)
I had the Asus Suite III and ROG Gamefirst uninstalled that a few days ago.
Think thats it

Edit: Uninstalled MemTweakit and Sonar now since I dont use them

Perfect, mate.

Which game is giving you problems? Does it happen during online or offline play? And have you tried playing other games to reproduce the problem?

Atm I only play WoW with my son and it happens mostly during graphic intense figts, i.e. a raid boss etc.
The cpu is oc'd to 4.6Ghz and maxtemps during a wow session is around 67C, GPU is around 60C I think.
I havent tried any other game since I dont have any installed, can install something and test it ofc.

Appreciate the help cause its really bugging me when new stuff isnt working as good as the old stuff if you know what I mean 🙂

Could you please do me a favour and look in the OS event viewer and check if there are any entries that raise alarms. I am trying to decide if this is hardware or software (OS) causality.
