Hi Guys... Just read pages 1 - 4 hoping for an answer.

Any experience with R4F and i73820... also have a habit of keeping BIOS updated.... but think I need to roll back as OC of 4.7Ghz is no longer stable since latest BIOS update. Not sure to which one I need to roll back and the method involved.

I usually update with R4F.CAP which is the latest...not 100% clear on the ERALL.CAP procedure.

It should be named ERALL.ROM

It's used to go back to 1xxx.ROM bios files..

You would place ERALL.ROM on a thumb drive and flash using flashback method.

OK, thank-you. So if you just want to go back to one of the older .CAP BIOS versions, I just rename it to R4F.CAP (or for whatever MB you have), and use USB BIOS Flashback method.

I thought ERALL is for going back to the older .ROM BIOS files, so that is why I was confused. I thought that information was wrong a few posts ago.

Hi Guys,
This 4901 update for bios is not good at all. I am using a 4930k I7, and wanna to make some change on my HW. And I started with bios update.
I went on Asus web page and took the latest bios version 4901 and nothing is working. I have more than 20 drivers that are not recognized after I install all drivers. Also yesterday just receive a blue screen ( I am not using OC, I'd prefer to let the system like it is on default settings ) so today I will put 4804 as I saw that many of you saying that is a good bios version.

I don't have any clue why it not recognized all my drivers after I download everything from Asus web page ( also I've tried from my CD from MOBO but no chance, same issue ). I don't think 4901 is stable ... or let's say for windows 7 Ultimatum 64 bits there are no drivers available.
I've tried also to check the driver from System Information in order to get the VEN/DEV from Vendor ID, the strange thing is that VEN_01D2 doesn't exist...
