Ok I had to replace my power supply for my new build already since my other died, well I ended up buying this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817207011
Now the prob I am having is that it does not have a 4 way header for the eps on the board it has one extra 6 way header is there a way to get an expansion for the eps to split that six way into a 4 way?

Also do I really need a plug for the eps?

the XFX PSU have 2 x 4 pins for the EPS ( the 8 pins connector can be split in 2 x 4 ) . the 6 pins is not for the EPS it's for the PCI-E and yes you need to plug the EPS ,

Ha the second 4 pins EPS, you don't need it , at least not for now. it's funny that this PSU don't have 2 x 8 pins EPS.

So what you are saying is I don't need the 2x4's plugged in there then?...So just hook it in the eps spot? And just leave that spot where I do have em empty?

Sorry for all the questions lol

you need only the 8 pins connected. read the manual it's all explain. ( Actually you can have the 8 plug in the 8 or a 4 plug in the 8 or a 4 plug in the 4 . ) but just stick with the 8 in the 8

Later if you find you need the additional power you can pick up a 4pin molex to 4 or 8pin EPS power cable like this one, they are available with a simple search
