My OC settings - R4 Formula/3820/Dominator-GT 2133/h100

So ideally i wanted a configuration ok for 24/7 use. I initially came up with six profiles and i chose three to share today with other ROG members with similar R4F/3820 builds. There seems to be a few threads about which settings to change in the bios for a decent oc. I would appreciate pos/neg feedback.

main specs:
Asus Rampage 4 Formula (bios version 1305)
Intel 3820
Corsair Dominator-GT 2133 16gb 1.5v (9-11-10-27)
Corsair H100 stock fans (edit- changed to push/pull)
Seasonic XP-1000 Platinum
win 7 x64

Profile 1) 4.38ghz / 2448mhz - highest mem cntlr freq-freq with acceptable cpu oc
Profile 2) 4.51ghz / 2240mhz - higher cpu/ram oc with stock (effectively tighter) timings 1t
Profile 3) 4.60ghz / 2282mhz - 105bclk+ gpu no post bypass with pcie clock skew

Profile 1 and 2 - almost identical thermal ranges, +/- 1c. idle 27c-30c, 50c max gaming, 55-61c load.
Profile 3 - idle 37c-40c, 58c max gaming, 67c-75c load.

Temperatures measured with only the two fans on the h100 running in the system.
Cinebench r11.5 x64 highest score with profile 3 - 8.87pts
PCMark vantage hs profile 3 with 7770crossfire + intel 520 120gb ssd - 18,545 pcmarks.

Once i add another ssd in raid-0 and replace my xfire setup with sli, i will create a full build log with pictures.

Update:

4.875ghz and 5ghz configurations. confirmed stable with hour runs with prime. I'm pretty happy with these results, much lower vtt/vccsa with lower multi.

Thnx man! with prime at 5ghz I am seeing 81-82c max on core 1, min 73c on core 3.

I have another 5ghz thread active with screenshots that shows temps

how are you going with your 3820?

uhm at the present time, right now, im running a memtest to verify my memory, 50% still NO errors :D, i have realized that maybe i have some memory issues, every time Prime after 4/5h (its getting better initially it was crashing after 10/15 min lol) it is crashing so at the moment i am @4.446 and memory @1872, now i gotta go sleep tomorrow i have to get up early to training so i will leave the memtest running.

i have also noticed that the BSOD which i was getting during Prime95 are related to mem errors/vcore errors/mem voltages so i wil try to correct those errors on the memory and also i will try to configure the XMP profile as suggested on the gskill website... lets hope.... i have tried your 4.870 OC and it booted but prime crashed straight, IBT is working fine instead, 10/20/50 passes on High without any errors.... uhm dunno.. maybe IBT doesn't test so much ram stability? anyway i think my cpu is hungry @voltages i could run 4.970@1.45 but i have seen lots of other 3820 going up easily and without increasing so much vcore.

anyway... im getting a bit sad about it.... but this is the game 😉 ill keep you informed, come and say hello sometime on my 3d 😛 ahahah

ps i have created the following 3d to find out how many ppl using prime --> http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?25649-Prime95-OC-Stability-Test
