Does anyone know where I can locate the HPET option to disable it in the bios? Or of the option is even available to disable at all?

As far as I know it doesn't have it as I was looking for it too. I've just disabled it in windows.

I suspected as much cause i looked at every option 3 times over and could find it, and why am i not surprised that it doesn't have that option. What happened the Maximus Series nothing of what i expected it to be especially compared to those of the past. But i did the exact some thing in windows when i couldnt find it. But dave was just checking your specs and noticed u got a 4.6 oc, what is your voltage at? Also does bios 0071 work better for you then 0076?

Haha, same here double checked every single option considering my previous board the Maximus IV Extreme-Z68 had it but I think it's something to to with haswell. For my overclock I'm running manual (not adaptive) 1.3v but I have c-states running so I get it running dynamically depending on load, with it hitting max temp of 78c during the AVX in Realbench, and a lot less during gaming, around 47c. I only put on 0071 to see what it was like as luckily I've not had a problem with any previous Bios, did consider 0076 but it runs fine just now.

Glad to hear you dont have any issues, when i first got my board i had two 770 classifieds and had the same issue but was more of a horrible micro stutter, after awhile and got lucky for some reason 8.1 seemed to fix the issue, but then i finally reach 0 in queue of my step up and got my two 780s and now when i step into a server for not even a minute and my system will just freeze up completely and have do a hard reset. Im gonna hit up asus tomorrow and see what the hell they can do for me if not im gonna just have to take a lose and selling this damn thing , and on top of all that i also have a phoebus which could have been a great sound card but they dont even support their products with usable drivers.
But decent OC for a haswell those, i got mine to 4.4oc with a 1.25v manual. using a corsair h110 for the moment but hopefully have a custom loop in the near future but i dont like c states figured id do an offset or adaptive. bui gonna wait and see how things play out.

May I know which BIOS are you on when encounter SLI issue on B2 slot?
Tried 0076?

Yes I have tried 0076 TL, I think I have tried just about everyone that has been posted, and one the support site. Load optimized setting usually unless I read otherwise and have keep a close eye on the forums. I hope there is something for me. Never thought id open up a cade so many times switch back and worth again and again not to mention all the bios switching. Actually have had my OS data corrupted twice from this issue. I have almost given up hope on this thibg and feel oike I shouldnt have to deal with this any longer.

I will take that 0076 is a no go for you then
May I have your exact model of evga 780s?

@TL@ASUS

Out of interest TL where are these two BIOS's heading, when compared to the other releases? is there a certain option in the BIOS that you are focusing on. I just find it strange that so many people have the B2 slot problem, even some having identical setups as me. Since having this board no BIOS has gave me a problem (Not that I particularly look forward to removing my GPUs in the future, just incase). On a more positive note I do find this Motherboard, for me, excellent and unfortunate others have these problems and not getting the full from it.

Thanks,
