Just install your new card. No need to worry about the onboard graphics. You can have them both active if you want or disable onboard in Bios. (uses less RAM)
Best to select in Bios your PCI-E as primary.
Install the latest driver from EVGA when you register your card and get EVGA Precision X-16 at the same time.
The graphics port you connect to will determine the output to your monitor.
