MOBO only sees 24 gigs of RAM

I installed 32 gigs and the MOBO only sees 24 gigs. It boots and I don't see any errors. But in the BIOS and in the Windows 7 64bit cosystem control panel it also only reports 24 gigs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What does CPU-Z state?

Possibly a dead stick or MB dimm, try different configurations to determine which.
