Just like HivizMan said your CPU is what actually will decide what you run your ram at
Original haswells are known to have very touchy memory controllers where you have to remember
A. Get a single kit for best results, meaning all sticks sold together maybe even all in one package
B. Sometimes haswell doesn't like higher ram clocks especially if the CPU is over clocked
Also if you don't do intensive things like video editing, virtual boxes, things like that or making a ramdisk then 32gb would be a bit overkill, by all means tho if you want the 32 regardless of what your plans are then go for it lol
If your CPU is a refresh I'm not sure as I haven't really seen anything about them regarding how they handle ram atleast
