Meaning of AA on ASUS Rampage IV Extreme?

I have the ASUS Rampage IV Extreme and was wondering whether the lights and display on it are normal/correct.

The two digit display in red always shows "AA", except for when it first came on (it showed the temperature I think). Is this correct?

Thanks

That is what the board should read after the system has posted successfully.
It does not read temperature at all - error codes only.

I tend to associate the 'AA' with "All's Acceptable."

Once you are passed over to AHCI by the POST process you will get the AA Q-code. And what it shows are the different Q-codes during the POST process.

All is indeed good. 🙂
