Hi everyone, I've just bought a new rig with VII Ranger and got some problems straight away.
Firstly, the ASUS audio driver from the official Ranger page doesn't work properly. As you might know, before and after each played sound, like windows standard sounds, there's a popping noise which is very annoying. Tried realtek drivers from station-drivers, all the same.
Secondly, on each startup there is a single beep that the mobo makes and according to the manual it's one of three things:
1. VGA detected
2. Fast boot is disabled
3. Keyboard is not found
I'm using a DVI connection to the display, fast boot enabled, keyboard present. So why is there this beeping sound? Quite annoying too.
