Maximus VII Ranger RAM. 2 or 4 channels?

Hi guys.

As I am still not aware where I might benefit the most from on this Mainboard:

Should I use 2 x 8 GB RAM or 4 x 4 GB. I have both options here with no additional costs. Both are 1600MHz DDR 3

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Pretty sure the Ranger uses ASUS T-branch layout like the more recent boards, so 4 DIMM can be favorable for overclocking.

and else, is easy upgrade up to maximum capacity
