Maximus VII Ranger: how to turn off USB power when PC is off?

Hello all,

As the title says.. I've recently bought a rig with a Ranger in it. My problem is that I have some USB devices attached to it which do not have their own on/off switch. Even when the machine is totally turned off, the USB ports are still providing power to the connected devices. I'd like my USB ports to not provide any power when the PC is off or in hibernation mode (not stand-by). Where do I set this, I assume somewhere in the BIOS?

Thank you

There is an ErP setting somewhere in your bios, turn it off. Your psu has to support ErP for the option to work.

The only ErP related option i can find is called "ErP ready" and it is already set to disabled.

Hello

ErP needs to be set to enabled.

Setting ErP ready to enabled for both S4 and S5 states solved the issue. When the PC is hibernating or totally shut down yet still connected to the power outlet, my USB devices do not recieve any power at all. This disable wake from mouse clicks but I can live with that since my case's power on button is easily within reach.
