Yesterday I made a bios update from version 1003 to version 2012.
Since the bios boot screen on my Eizo 24 "monitor is displayed and my Samsung 4K monitor to the display port has been recognized as a second monitor on boot. When Windows login Samsung Monitor is frst and Eizo display was 2nd display again.
Before the bios update that was not so. Since the Samsung monitor was on display port during the boot process and the first monitor and the Eizo via DVI, the second monitor.
It looks as if always the monitor to the DVI port is running as the first display addressed.
I now have the Eizo monitor connected to the HDMI port and it runs everything as before the bios update.
The Samsung on DisplayPort is permanently monitor with first boot screen and HDMI port on the Eizo is permanently 2nd monitor.
Anyone an idea why is detected with the bios update always the HDMI port as first monitor?
Graphics cards are 2x Asus Geforce GTX 980 in the reference design.
Motherboard is an Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER.
From the performance point, I have about 600 points higher in 3D Mark and everything is going great.
Best regards
