Maximus VII Impact: Start PC from cold boot by keyboard/mouse

Hello, all. I have a question, hoping someone can answer for me.

I have a PC using the Maximus VII Impact motherboard. The PC is hidden behind a cabinet.

Is there a way to turn on the PC (from cold boot) using a USB keyboard?

e.g. the PC is off. I would like to press a key on the keyboard and have the PC turns on.

Just to confirm, I don't need to wake the PC from sleep (this is already working).

I read the Keybot instructions, but this is not quite what I want. I just want to press a key, start the computer, and let it boot normally.

Welcome to the ROG forum.

Unfortunately there is no way to configure your pc to boot from the keyboard that I'm aware of unless as you say you could just let it go to sleep.

One option would be is to get a separate power switch, something like this.
