Space_Case2000

I have recently updated my bios to version 3003 and ever so I have done so I have noticed my system takes significantly longer to post/power up. once the asus rog logo appears it speeds along as normal with out any issues I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and/or knows how I would correct it. Thanks

System is made up of the following:
-Herro VII (obviously)
-Intel 4670k
-gtx 970
-16g (2x8) DDR3 1866 corsair vengeance pro.
-crucial x100 512g ssd
-windows 10 x64 pro

Hello Space_Case2000

Disable all onboard devices you're not using wifi, Bluetooth, asmedia sata ports etc.. also enable fast boot on the boot tab.

Does this help you?

Thank you for your response, should have mentioned in my op that after the update I cleared my comos. And as always configured what you suggested like I always have "set up" on my bord.

It seems to me that the Qled goes threw although more "stages " but I never really looked at it much before now.

Maybe something was implemented in the newer bios version that takes longer to boot, if everything is working fine I wouldn't be too concerned.

Ya guess I have to learn to love with it. Super annoying tho going from a few seconds (3-5) to post. Too almost a full minute before I can even enter my bios 😞 guess I will have to write asus tech support to find out what is going on.

If you don't need the latest bios you could revert back to your previous version.
