Maximus VII Hero and the branded Realtek HD Audio Manager

Hi folks, first post here.

Bought the Hero a couple of days ago and after some small issues, everything runs almost perfect now.

But this ROG-branded version of the Realtek HD Audio Manager really annoys me. I just want the "old" one back (see picture)



The aim is to get the possibility to configure every jack socket to be anything. My previous MoBo (GA770TA-UD3) could do that. I want to clone the front speaker output to another (e.g. rear) output. An indirect software solution wouldn't be great, due to latencys and compatibility.

Uninstall it. Then go and download the driver from the Realtek website.
