Maximus VII Gene sound card replacement?

Hello all,

I purchased a Maximus VII Gene refurbished from Newegg a while ago, but it did not include the sound card module. Anyone know where I could locate one or who to contact at Asus to purchase one?

I have checked around eBay, Amazon, etc, but have not been able to find one.

Thanks.

I'm curious did they note on the refurbish notes that it would not include the sound card?

All Newegg refurbished products state that they are not liable for any accessories that are missing. I read the reviews on the product and everyone stated they had received everything that normally comes with the board. I was just unlucky when I did not receive the audio card.

Thanks I was looking into buying a refurb as well just wanted to get some feedback.

If you're buying a sound card then I'd look for an asus xonar d2x/dx for the pcie slot instead of trying to get another oem replacement.

I just might have to. Asus support has not been very helpful in responding to my support request. They have to have a stock of these parts somewhere. They used to have a parts store online, but it seems to have changed and all they offer now is power supplies, mice and keyboards etc. I'll check eBay and see if I can locate a Xonar then.
