hi
so after i came from vacations my computer started to do some strange stuff
first i could not open corsair link cause popped everytime a window that it stopped working then it hapenned the same error while opening intel smart conect technlogy
so i tought about upgrading bios and drivers
i updated bios and i got a whea unreparable blue screen error, i corrrected some stuff in bios and finally got through the error i think the clockspeed of my 4670k was set to 4600 mhz automaticaly so i corrected that
then i tried updating the drivers, but when i get to intel drivers i get a message that my sistem specs are not supported, and im sure they are, i also got some messages that intel technologies could be bios disabled but i checked them all to enabled and it still fails to update
What can i do ?? its getting frustrating that some windows keep on showing that error
Ty in advance
Ps: my specs are the maximu vi hero 4670k not oc, gtx 770, and hyper xblack 2x4gb 2400mhz

What Intel driver is not supported, the Intel video driver? If it is that I think you need to enabled that in the bios to install the driver. Of course if you don't use it there is no need to install the driver.

Can't help you with Corsair Link since I don't own one of those.

If you're not facing any problems with your system, please don't touch your BIOS. If you need to update, save the BIOS file on an USB pendrive and update it through the EZ Flash utiliy in the BIOS. If you have an overclock, write down the settings now and clear your CMOS before the update.

As far as the drivers go, make sure you are downloading the correct driver for your OS.

Update:
So i enabled intel graphics on the motherboard and i was able to install the intel graphics
after that the problem of windows saying they stopped working in itself stopped

but can i have both gpus running ?? like the intel one to do the ordinary tasks and my nvidia to games and video editing ???
cause in bios i chose igpu instead of my nvidia one, does that mean all tasks will use the igpu froom now on ??

antoher update with bad news
after a restart i chose auto as a setting bettween both gpus and evrything went back to the errors
so the question is how can i solve this knowing that the errors dont show up when using my igpu but i want to use my dedicated one

Yes you can use both at the same time, I use it to extend my desk space to a second monitor. I don't know if there is any advantage to doing that if your Nvidia card can handle multiple monitors.

You said in one of you messages that you can't get into the bios and it goes straight to Windows. Try connecting your monitor to the other port or connect a second monitor to see what is really going on. You can tell the bios which monitor to use as your main monitor.

If you continue to have problems with your bios I think you may have to open your case and clear the CMOS. See the manual 1.2.7 on how to do that. After that you should be able to get into the bios. Load the optimized defaults and then you will need to go through all the options to make sure they are set the way you want them set. If you did things right you wrote down your settings before you updated the bios. 😐

If you still can't access the bios I can only suggest you try the USB Bios Flashback - see 2.2 of the manual. This way the bios will update without turning on the system.
.

i can acess bios now i was being stupid i selected igpu but did not connect the motherboard to the monitor. its working fine now
the thing is i just have one monitor, so how can i solve this problem ??? i just want these messages to go away and for me to be able to open all programs

Thanks for the help BTW

Glad you figured it out. If your monitor allows you to select different video inputs all you need is another cable. I think that would be too awkward, either buy a second monitor or forget about it.

I ran across all the same problem you did and I don't think the second monitor is the best solution for me. I am saving up for a large UHD monitor. Its about time I made my video card sweat a bit. The ASUS PB287Q looks nice! 🙂

The thing is if i select my integrated graphics card i have no problems with opening that aplications, but i dont want to be using that gpu, i want to be uising my gtx 770, if i connect a new cable and select igpu my gtx770 will be useless. I have no clue what i could try next .
