Maximus VI Hero Windows 10 Long Desktop loading times

I've had windows 10 on this computer for some time now and have really enjoyed it! Recently Microsoft pushed a large update for windows 10. Now I've got problems... When logging in to my account on the login screen, it now takes 4 minutes and 40 seconds (timed) to fully load my desktop. During this time the screen flickers a few times and goes blank. If I wait, it eventually comes back and everything is up and running. This is all after almost 5 mintues of waiting for it to load up my desktop.

Before the windows 10 update, my desktop took less than a minute to load everything.

What is going on!?

Dunno. Have the same combination and everything is great here - sub 30 second boot.
