Is ek the only place that makes water blocks for these boards, also the ek southbridge blocks the 2nd pci-e port so you cant run 2 gpu's, is there a work around for this?

i would just leave the default asus block and just use the EK VRM block.

cooling that part will not have any impact and would be marginally.
on m6e however the PLX does get hot when u use it.

i guess the cost of a hero+ek block = m6f.

Not sure who else does blocks for the boards and are available where you live. It may be a good idea to look at the M6F as suggested unless of course you have the board already.
