Maximus VI Hero, Mouse Problem

Zenzar

So i recently got a new computer and ofc a Maximus VI Hero MB and with an i7 4770k CPU, the problem i have atm is that in BIOS my keyboard and mouse works fine but as soon as i started install on a new windows my mouse was dead so i though sure i go with that untill the install is finished and when i got into windows when it was all done it did still not work , i repluged it and it worked, this is the issue each time now when i start windows, My Mouse is Dead Each Time...

Keyboard and all that is working just fine but its always the mouse.

My mouse is an Mionix Saiph 3200 - USB 2.0
My Keyboard is a Corsair Vengence 70K - USB 2.0

And on the side note instead of making new post i sometimes have an issue with the sound, i get a buzz/frezz on the computer when i do random stuff, its not happend so much its just 2-3 times so far, its nothing like some people got like when starting windows ands they get that crazy buzz/frezz sound.

And i got an PCI Simple communications controller error in Device Manager under Other devices no clue what it is or how fix it.

Cheers in advance.

Welcome to the Republic of Gamers forum, Zenzar.

Make sure you are running the latest 0903 BIOS. If not, download it, put it on an USB pendrive and flash it through the EZ Flash utility in the BIOS.

humm never been so much in the bios, so not 100% sure where to look for the bios version >.<

Edit: Does it matter if there is other things on the USB stick? or does it need to be a clean Stick when pulling over and using the flash bios thingy?

When you're in the BIOS, navigate to the Main tab. It's the first option in that tab. And preferably use an empty USB pendrive.

I would do a full install of OS again and ensure that the mouse does work during the entire process. Often it is best to use a very basic mouse for the OS install.

If you have problems set USB2 as your default USB
