Hi,
I've been searching around on the web for many many hours and feel I'm at a complete halt!
😞Consider myself to be intermediate but absolutely not an expert in this field, begging for help!
Background and Issue:
I replaced my motherboard, CPU and RAM for a Maximus VI Hero Motherboard.
After the change I only got the bios to detect 1 of my 5 Hard Drives.
2 of them has not been used so of the 3 that I KNOW works only 1 of them is detected.
The mechanical drives does spin when connected to a power source.
OS:
Win 10 Pro (legal copy, fully exhausted windows update after install)
Hard Drives I activly used on the old Motherboard:
SSD ADATA SX900 128GB - Is detected and I managed to install Windows OS 10 on this one.
HDD WD Caviar Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB - Not detected
HDD Seagate Brracuda ST1000DM003 1TB - Not detected
Hard Drives previously untested (Can't detect):
SSD Kingston HyperX 480GB
SSD Corsair Force F60 60GB
Steps already taken:
- Did a flashback to the latest BIOS version using the flashback port on the motherboard.
- Tried different SATA ports on the motherboard
- Tried various legacy SATA settings, tried IDE Native/Legacy etc.
- Tried single HDD at a time using the ports and connectors that worked for the ADATA SSD
- Tried various SATA Cables (3GB / 6GB)
- Drivers from ASUS site installed (Chipset and SATA drivers)
Starting to loose faith here and it feels a bit hopeless.
😞Does anyone here see anything obvious that is causing my distress?
