Maximus VI Hero Dual Channel Ram Problem

Hello,

I just built a new rig for gaming and ran into this problem 😞

I am using:
Intel Core i5 4670K (Stock) on a Asus Maximus VI Hero with G.Skill Trident X 2400 OC Ram.

Now, whenever I try to use the DIMMs on a Dual Channel config, it doesnt post. The motherboard shows Q-Code 55 Error.
I tried using A1+B1 and A2+B2 slots. Everytime it shows Q-Code 55.

But it does post and boot up when the DIMMs are put in A1 and A2 slots.

I have Cleared RTC, pulled the CMOS Battery, but nothing worked.

Any help or ideas?

Thanks!

What happens when you use a single DIMM in B1 or B2?

When I use single ram it works. Checked with both sticks.
Both ram works in Single Channel setup. Just doesnt work in Dual Channel 😞

Are you using the latest 1402 bios?

I assume this only manifests when you load xmp and not at default settings?

I've thought of that, but to be honest I haven't tried it without XMP.

I'll put that on the "to try list".

It will take about a month of testing until I can safely say one way or another, as it's so random.

Thanks.
