M2 card problem
Hello,
I've been having trouble with the m2 slot trying to use wireless cards for about 4 weeks now.
At first I tried an intel 7260 ac wireless card with windows 8. Every time I try to install the drivers I keep getting a BSOD. Then swapped back to windows 7 and the computer also BSOD. Its now back on 8, which was later upgraded to 8.1. With no drivers there's no wifi or bt but at least there's no BSOD.
Next I bought an intel 6235n, because that's been shown to be working in this forum. I've tried on windows 8 and I can get Bluetooth working but not the wireless.
I then upgraded to 8.1, thinking the problem might fix itself.
Devmgmt keeps showing code 10 device cannot start, same as before under win8.
I have an Maximus vi gene, 4770k, 16gb ram, 840 pro ssd. Windows 8.1
Can anyone advise what I might try to resolve this problem? Thank you.
