I just finished putting together my first build and initially it wouldn't display video thanks to the q-55. After browsing around a bit I went with the usual suggestion and tried one stick of ram at a time. Fortunately, it worked and I could go to the BIOS and run everything normally. I managed to install the operating system and everything and got in running fine. The only problem was that only the two ram slots closest to the CPU would work. If I put in all four ram sticks I got hit with a q-55. Same goes for three. I managed to deduce which slots were giving me problems and it's the red/black ones furthest away. All the ram sticks should be good since I interchanged them just to be sure. Is there any way for me to fix this error?
Memory in question is Corsair XMS3 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory.
