Hi ikennyyy, Use the Bios flash method using a USB stick as described in your manual Section 2.2 for M6F.CAP.

ASUS bios update method for Maximus VI,

Download the latest Bios from the ASUS site. At the same time download the renaming tool from Utilities section, both to an empty fat32 formatted USB stick,
Activate the renamer to convert Bios file to ****.CAP, Check it has done its job.

Power down your system.

Plug the USB drive into the bottom USB connection port on your IO panel.

Make sure that the power supply is ON. (MB green light)

Press the Bios Flashback button (The one with two little race tracks) for 3 seconds. The FLBK led will begin to flash.

Wait until the process finishes and your done.

Q-code F9 is 'recovery capsule not found' in the M6F user's guide. That sounds like some piece of BIOS isn't there, which could be expected if an update failed. When we can't get into BIOS, let alone the OS, the only way to update or correct BIOS is Flashback. Flashback is also the more reliable method. Hence MeanMachine's solution. The trick is to have standby power on the board, but don't press a Start button.

Your Pic shows the Bios updater for 4th gen Intel processors. Not the same thing.

Your Bios is 1505 and the bios file is contained in the file below the one you downloaded.
Go back to ASUS support and get the Bios file, then the renaming tool from utilities.

Send the bios file to USB with the Bios renaming tool on their own. Then activate the renaming tool.

You should then have a file with an extension ****.CAP. This is the one and only file the system is looking for.

Alrighty, see I did that and renamed the file. The motherboard did pick up and it restarted. Showing 00 and rog logo is blinking.

Are you saying that post will not advance and halts on 00 with ROG splash screen?.

To enter Bios at startup you keep continually pressing the DEL key off and on.

To enter Bios after post you press cntr, alt, del simultaneously.

Are you now able to access Bios?

If so then set bios to default settings and reboot to OS media.

If you have qcode AA then you have successfully transitioned to ACPI. Congrats as you are on your way.
