Hi people, it's my first post on the ROG forum. I'm very glad to be NOW part of the ROG comunity.
Asus=the best...so ROG is the ultimate thang!I have a Maximus VI Extreme.
And i have my rig connected to a really really bad-az.z UPS (server type)
Everytime i shut down my computer; really really down...i turn off the ups and unplug the ups from the power outlet
(cause even it's off; the ups consumes some electricity; cause the fan's of the UPS are still running)
And the ups, itself, it's loud as...foam.
So i cannot leave it "on" on the night, otherwise i won't be able to sleep -.-
😞But, when we turn everything "ON" again, obviously it has the last date&time i had, when i turned it off. (mismatch from the actual time)
The question here is: The charge of the integrated battery on the motherboard (the clock like battery) The round one, its like a CR200 whatever....Should last "a lot" (enough) to save my date & time?Does any body understands this?
Anybody does the same thing i do? (shutting down your ups whenever you finish using the computer)
BTW: i don't loose my bios settings, though. The overclock stills there, the profiles they stay the same...everything is saved, but the date&time not.
I hope somebody understands this one.
Thanks in advance, cheers
Marshall.
