Maximus VI Extreme CPU Opt Fan

Hi,
i have a problem. I have attached my cooler first pwm fan to cpu fan and its work, i have attached the second cooler pwm fan to the cpu opt, but it is not releaved in the bios. Why? And how to solve?

The settings for the CPU_OPT header is tied to the CPU_FAN header.

Hi, can you explain me better? In the bios i have the "Cpu Optional" under Fan Control but no there's the rpm ....

Does that fan that is connected to the CPU_OPT header spin?

can you unplug the fan in question from CPU_OPT and plug it into other headers in the motherboard and see if the rpm shows up?

CHA_FAN is fine too. just for testing purposes

las week i have tested a hero vi mb, with other pwm fan but same issue.... In your one it's work?

With the hero same problem with other brand pwm fans.

Connect one of your fans to that header. Power up your system and see if the fan spins.

The fan work but why i can't see in bios? On the hero too.
